Pop Will Eat Itself has announced Delete Everything, their first new album in 10 years, along with a UK tour set for late 2025. Pre-orders are now open for Delete Everything, which will be released in October and includes the previously released singles “Disco Misfits” and “Bruiser,” as well as a new version of “Their Law.”
Known for songs such as “Can U Dig It?” and “X Y & Zee,” Pop Will Eat Itself returned with a new line-up in 2011. Graham Crabb is the only original member, with Mary Byker joining as co-vocalist.
“I’m biased, but I think the world is slightly—ever so slightly, almost unnoticeably—better with a Pop Will Eat Itself in the present, that people can see and follow,” said Crabb in a 2013 interview about the decision to continue as PWEI. Having released two albums so far with the new line-up, it’s clear they’ve successfully brought the band into the present. It’s undeniably PWEI, without sounding like a rehash.
We have several Pop Will Eat Itself interviews in the archives:
- A 2015 interview about Anti-Nasty League
- A 2013 interview about the band’s return and New Noise Designed by a Sadist
- A 2014 interview with Clint Mansell about Dos Dedos Mis Amigos
